One of the most heart-wrenching stories I’ve dealt with involves the death of Brandon Caserta. Before the pandemic started I was working closely with one of my Military Families for Justice (MFFJ) cofounders, Tracy Shue, to gather facts and interview those closest to the case in order to feature it on MFFJ’s podcast River City Charlie. However, when I caught Covid, everything came to a screeching halt.
